On this 5th day of February, in the year 1600, in the tenth evening hour, His Highness King Dominic delivered the following Royal Proclamation upon the steps of the citadel.
"Thank you all for coming on such short notice. These are dark times we have entered and there is a stain upon these streets. Know, my citizens, that we are working diligently to get to the bottom of this terrible series of events. The Crown will continue to work diligently and we will not rest until we have rooted this evil from the shadows where it sleeps. And our justice will be swift."
"In one week's time, the criminal known to use as Lothario Lorenzo will be accused and face justice by the will of the Crown whom he so grievously wounded. God is merciful but we are merciful and firm. This will not be tolerated. Those who have evil designs; take this as warning. Those who are pure, take this as solace."
"The criminal will die here on these steps for his crimes in one week's time. Such is our mercy and justice. Such is the decree of the Crown. By God's grace, we will be rid of this evil stain upon these streets."
Let it be known on this day, the 12th of February in the year of our Lord 1600, that the criminal known as Lothario Lorenzo has been executed by beheading. May God have mercy on his soul.
