The very things which helped the Roman Republic become great are the same things that started her downfall into the Roman Empire.
This coming Friday at 6 PM, my next talk will be the first in a series on the fall of the Roman Republic. As always I'm not here just to teach you history, I'm here to have a talk about history, trying to make it interesting and fun to everyone who attends. So come and enjoy some wine and conversation as we discuss what it meant to be a Roman in the Roman Republic.
