Future Allegory of Empires Account Tiers
As the official split with Skotos looms just on the horizon, we have established the new pricing structure for accounts in Allegory of Empires. These prices will be effective when the split is complete, the ETA on that being early June at this time pending further announcements.
The perks that come with each account type will remain the same for now. As we alter these perks or make new ones available, we will make an announcement explaining the changes and how they will affect each account type.
FREE
We will continue to offer a free account option using the current structure that has been established. You will be able to play one character in AoE and have access to in-game promotions up to the thane level.
BASIC - $5
Basic accounts will still have the benefit of three character slots. Additionally, basic accounts can accept promotions up to the baronet level.
PREMIUM - $10
Premium account holders will continue to receive 50 STPs per month as well as access to five character slots. In addition, premium accounts will be able to accept promotions up to the marquis level.
- We will announce when the prices go into effect on the forums as soon as possible! As of right now, we have not established how many and what price we will offer the direct purchase of story points at, but as we move forward with changing that, we will be sure to announce it ahead of time.

These prices are now in effect and the updated prices for purchasing STPs are also active at a new reduced rate.

Updated Account Tier Perks
We have updated the number of LPs that can be generated by characters to reflect the differences between account tiers. Idleness is taken into account so to earn the points, you must maintain activity. Every account tier earns 4 LPs per day as a baseline, regardless of whether you log in or not.
FREE accounts will earn a maximum of 10 LPs a day with 4 earned as a baseline and 2 earned for every half hour of play.
BASIC accounts will earn a maximum of 16 LPs a day with 4 earned as a baseline and 4 earned for every half hour of play.
PREMIUM accounts will earn a maximum of 22 LPs a day with 4 earned as a baseline and 6 earned for every half hour of play.
