~ A Royal Book Contest ~

On behalf of the Royal Crown and the Italian Consulate, I, Lacey Fraser, hereby do announce the beginning of the first Royal Book Contest.

This is a contest of creativity, intellect, and wit. It is an excellent chance to display your literature skills through a written story of your own. During this contest, you will be invited to produce a tale of either fiction or non-fiction. Each submission will be judged by a panel of studious minds, and three winners will be selected. The winners will be gifted the prizes detailed below, but each -suitable- submission will be gifted to Her Royal Majesty's library.

The theme for this contest is romance, which can be interpreted in any way you seek. Such as thriller romance, comedy romance, or even sole romance. The decision of which path you take will be completely up to you. However, it is requested that all books be suitable for the general audience. Which includes no vulgar scenes and or language. Submissions that refuse to comply will be disregarded and warned for upcoming contests.

All those who wish to enter will have until the Sixth Day of the Second Month to enter the contest. All entries must be submitted in a book, which can be ordered through bookbinders. The page length of your tale will not determine if you win or lose, a good story is not decided by the number pages it has.

To those who have entered or plan to enter this contest, I regret informing you that it has been postponed. At this time, we would prefer putting the contest on pause. This is so that we may come together as a collective people to mourn those who we have lost and pray for those who are injured. I will make an announcement when the contest is set to resume. Please and thank you for your understanding.
