Monday 6th April 1600
The English Consulate are pleased to announce the spring shooting competition. The Embassy will be running two shooting tournaments in parallel, shooting (pistol or musket) and archery.
Entry to participate will be 20 florins, with the winner of each tournament taking the entire cash prize, please let Roderick know which weapon you will be using upon entering.
The format:
The participant will take three shots at the 25, 50, 75 and 100 yard targets (a total of 12 shots), an minimum of one independent, trustworthy witness will record each of the shots, tally the score, note any other witnesses and send the information to myself to collate.
Scoring:
Miss - 1 point
black – 10 points
blue – 25 points
bullseye – 75 points
Deadline:
The competition will run for exactly one month, finishing on 6th May 1600, the two winners will be announced shortly afterward
