Monday 6th April 1600
The English Consulate are pleased to announce the spring shooting competition. The Embassy will be running two shooting tournaments in parallel, shooting (pistol or musket) and archery.
Entry to participate will be 20 florins, with the winner of each tournament taking the entire cash prize, please let Roderick know which weapon you will be using upon entering.
The format:
The participant will take three shots at the 25, 50, 75 and 100 yard targets (a total of 12 shots), an minimum of one independent, trustworthy witness will record each of the shots, tally the score, note any other witnesses and send the information to myself to collate.
Scoring:
Miss - 1 point
black – 10 points
blue – 25 points
bullseye – 75 points
Deadline:
The competition will run for exactly one month, finishing on 6th May 1600, the two winners will be announced shortly afterward
If required, I have a pistol and bow that participants may borrow. Any questions send me a missive or ask them below

I'd loov tae enter, if it be arrigh' fer me tae borrow yer bow! I havenae had th' chance tae shoot a bow fer a lang time. Alsae, wheer kin I find th' targets? And dae I joost need tae pick a witness tae watch me shoot? Or dae I need tae write tae ye wi' me intent tae compete, an' th' day I want tae shoot on? Och, an who dae I send th' floorings tae? Thank ye fer hostin' thi' grand competition!

Miss Maclean, I will keep my eyes out for you, you may of course borrow my bow
Please note, this is one entry per person per competition, you don't need to send me results every day for a month!
