New Plants

Cooking Pt. 2

I forgot to mention in my last post, but most foods will accept a variety of different ingredients, seasonings, and spreads. 

For example, to make a batch of biscuits from scratch:

> alter wheat grains into flour

> mix flour into dough

You mix your scoop of wholemeal flour into a dough.

> mix dough into biscuit dough

You mix your dough into a biscuit dough.

> add garlic clove to biscuit dough

You add your clove of garlic to your biscuit dough.

> cook biscuit dough into biscuits

You cook your garlic biscuit dough into a batch of garlic biscuits.

New command: @inventory

This command will make the contents of your crafting material storage boxes visible on @craft (lumber boxes, dye cubbies, metal lockers, etc).

Usage: @inventory lumber box

To remove it from your list, just type the command again. The inventory will be updated in real time as you add and remove things to your storage containers.

We've added regional cafes for Spain and England, which can be found in the vicinity of their respective consulate buildings.

Apothecary jars can be labeled.

> label my jar "flour"

You label your apothecary jar, "flour."

> examine my flour jar

You examine your apothecary jar.

Bowls and plates have been updated to display the food they are holding. Additionally, they can be targeted by the food(s) they are holding.

> You look at your shiny steel plate of bread pudding.

eat my pudding

> You take a bite of your serving of bread pudding.

You can also eat the food in the bowl/plate using the syntax "eat my plate"

If multiple foods exist in the bowl/plate, one will be chosen at random to be consumed.

Tea kettles and coffee kettles have received an update. They are now essentially the same kettle object and can be used to brew various types of hot drinks (tea, coffee, and cocoa). 

Syntax:

fill my kettle from <water source>

add my <teabag, coffee bean, or cocoa powder> to my kettle

pour my kettle into my cup (or fill cup from kettle)

To change the brew, simply use the "empty" command to empty the contents and follow the steps above.

Water can be collected from the streams in the Outlands. 

Syntax: refill my vessel from water

New command: @hair

Just like @voice and @gate, the @hair command will let you switch between hairstyles that were previously purchased with stps. Hopefully this will help give some business back to hairdressers as people will no longer permanently lose their custom hairstyle when getting a haircut.

Use the @storypoing to request a hairstyle, or if you have an existing custom hairstyle, let us know so we can set up the appropriate properties in your chatter body.

The new city market is now open on Strada Principale in the vicinity of the public stables. 

Nedjet Shisha Den is now open for business in the southeastern portion of the city. Enjoy!

Emporio d'Oro is now open for business in the southwest section of town. Enjoy!

Japanese, Portuguese, and Russian have been added to the language NPCs. If your backstory allows, for the next two weeks as of the time of this post, we'll allow any existing PCs to replace their starting language with one of the three. After that, new characters may assist prior to leaving the starting room to have one of these languages swapped in (until they're added as starting locations to the character generator).

Catacombs have been added below the Cathedral.

A basement has been added to the Citadel.
