Rules Regarding Trigger Warning Themes

Just as a reminder about the longstanding rule regarding sensitive themes and topics;

We have a zero-tolerance policy on all of the following themes, topics, story lines, plots, insinuations and rumors:

Rape, including coercion, sexual slavery, rape in backstories, rumors of rape, insinuating actions classified as rape against other characters, real or imaginary, threats of rape or anything that could toe the line in this category.

Sexual Assault, including rumors of it spoken about other characters, threats of it, insinuations of it or grey-area intonations of it in any shape or form.

Miscarriage, including stillbirth, infant death, abortion through herbal or physical means or rumors of it happening in any capacity. 

Suicide, including attempts at suicide, suicidal idealization, suicidal threats, attempts at suicide by the hands of others, suicidal rumors, insinuation, themes and suicide as a theme in backstories. 

All of the above are considered sensitive themes that will not be tolerated out of respect for those suffering behind the screen with any of those topics in their real lives. While we do not wish to shy away from all sensitive topics as a whole. those themes listed above are pushing the line too far and due to their very graphic nature and the sensitive elements included therein, we kindly ask that you not perpetrate any of them in any way. 

If you or another player hears any of the above themes or topics, please save a log immediately and forward it to us at staff AT allegoryofempires DOT com after filing an assist. Anyone found to be in transgression of the above rule will be subject to disciplinary action and escalation through Guide channels to ensure a safe haven for our fellow players.
