             Jewelry Descriptions 

 

(Including Gems, and all possible additions for each piece)

 

 

 

 

 

This will be a running list of descriptions of each item that I can craft, with measurements, the descriptions of additions such as gems, handfuls of gems, beads, buttons, and so forth, as the way these items are added vary the shape, and overall piece in varying ways from one piece of jewelry to another.

 

This will hopefully be updated weekly, or as I can afford to add gems to test pieces. 

 

 

 

Note! As I'm attempting to gather coin for this venture, the items listed herein are for sale, the bulk of which will be put toward being able to write new descriptions each week! 

 

Note 2! Not all additions can be added to all pieces unless we have it sent to a jewelry specialist (ooc- staff to pay with storypoints), which is why I am making this list. Some items can only be set with melee paving or handfuls of gems, some items can only be set with gems, and some with nothing at all. *** Asterisks represent something that does not function all the way. Please read the included descriptions carefully

 

 

 

Armbands - 1.5 grams

 

(all armbands have the same descriptions for added materials, save for the arm drape)

 

Generic - A copper armband. A simple band of metal worn about the bicep.

Armcuff - A copper armcuff. A wide band of copper worn around the upper arm. This band can be slipped on and off the arm via the open end of the circle.

Armlet - A copper armlet. An armlet which fits around the upper arm. It is made of a filigreed band and two dangling chains.

 

 - Gem - A quintet of round brilliant pink topaz gems have been inlaid into the band. The largest pink topaz residing at the center, the gems decrease in size towards either open end of the cuff to end in two small round brilliant pink topazs.

 - Handful - The area surrounding the round brilliant settings of the arm-thing have been sporadically decorated with tiny inset melee pyrites. The pyrites are clustered centrally, encrusting each setting and gradually dissipating towards the edges, lending the piece an overall dazzling appearance.

 

Arm drape -

 - Plain - A copper arm drape. It is made of a series of fine dangling copper chains which sweep from the hind of the shoulder to the fore and drape across the upper arm. It closes with a copper lobster clasp on the back of the arm that adjusts so you can tighten or loosen it for a perfect fit.

 - Gem - A trio of round brilliant pink topazs have been intricately interwoven within the top most chain.

 - Handful - Each link of chain has been sporadically decorated with the tiniest of white topazs, lending the piece an overall dazzling appearance.

 

 

 

Brooches - 1 gram 

 

Generic - 

 - Plain- A copper brooch. It is adorned with a round brilliant white topaz.

 - Gem -

  

Betrothal - 

 - Plain - A copper betrothal brooch. It features two copper hearts that intertwine intricately to form a single larger heart bearing a crown. Where the two hearts cross at the center rests an decorative disc. It is a physical representation of love and devotion.

 - Gem - Where the two hearts cross at the center rests an 11mm round brilliant white topaz set into a decorative disc.

 

 

Bodice -

 - Plain - A copper bodice brooch. This piece of jewelry is worn centrally upon a bodice or gown with a copper pin. It features a decorative motif frame displaying intricate copper filigree knots and whimsical swirls.

 - Gem- The elaborate frame surrounds a large round brilliant white topaz that acts as the centerpiece of the bodice brooch.

 - Handful- . It features a white topaz encrusted, decorative motif frame displaying intricate copper filigree knots and whimsical swirls set with the tiniest of melee white topazs lining each curve, and swirl.

 

 

Cameo -

 - Plain - A copper cameo brooch. Typically oval in shape, this piece of jewelry is used to display a carved relief profile depicting a person or figure of note in the wearer's life. It boasts a delicately scalloped copper frame that surrounds the central ovoid setting.

 - Gem - The carved silhouette itself has been inset into a brilliant white topaz oval that has been set in the center of the decorative frame, acting as a background

 - Handful - Each indent along the scalloped frame has been centrally set with the tiniest of white topazs, surrounding the oval center.

**  - Bead - A meticulously detailed pyrite (supposed to add the shape of the bead here, but it doesn't for some reason) has been carved in profile, and acts as the central focus of the cameo brooch.

- All together -

A copper cameo brooch. Typically oval in shape, this piece of jewelry is used to display a carved relief profile depicting a person or figure of note in the wearer's life. It boasts a delicately scalloped copper frame that surrounds the central ovoid setting. A meticulously detailed pyrite has been carved in profile, and acts as the central focus of the cameo brooch. The carved silhouette itself has been inset into a brilliant white topaz oval that has been set in the center of the decorative frame, acting as a background. Each indent along the scalloped frame has been centrally set with the tiniest of white topazs, surrounding the oval center.

 

 

Cloak clasp -

 - Plain - A copper cloak clasp. A tasteful fastening used to hold the opening of a cloak or cape together. This piece consists of two copper pins that hook to either side of the garment at the chest. A short length of finely wrought copper chain interconnects the two pins at the center, in order to hold it closed.

 - Gem- Currently only shows up in the brief, and not the description, but you -can- add it.

 - Handful -Encrusted with the tiniest of white topazs, the outer edging of this cloak clasp has been paved with small stones in such a way to catch light at any angle.

** - Bead - (Disclaimer - this function does NOT work in a way that includes the shape, and I'm unsure if it ever will. The intent was to add a bead and have the clasp take the shape of the bead itself. IE: adding a bee bead should have turned it into a 'bee/bee-shaped cloak clasp'. However, it does not function. Don't waste your materials!) If you're curious as to what it will look like with the bead though, here ya go. -

A copper cloak clasp. A tasteful fastening used to hold the opening of a cloak or cape together. Painstakingly carved, either side of the clasp is primarily crafted from two pieces of copper(<- any material that beads can be made out of will change 'copper' to whatever material you use for the bead. This part works, at least!) that have been formed into the shape of BEAD SHAPE NAME detailed pins. The pins are held together at the center by a short length of finely wrought copper chain.

 

 

Fleur-de-lis - (shield brooch)

- Plain - A copper shield brooch. This beautiful, three-layered brooch is created from pressed copper displaying a central shield surrounding three tiny shield surrounding three tiny settings. It boasts an antique copper finish, and an antique copper pin clasp.

 - Gem -(Doesn't show in, or change examine) just changes the brief name to add gem -

 - Handful - Does accept and use in description

 - All together - A copper shield brooch. This beautiful, three-layered brooch is created from pressed copper displaying a central bright topaz encrusted shield surrounding three tiny shield surrounding three tiny settings. It boasts an antique copper finish, and an antique copper pin clasp.

 

 

Heraldic -

 - Plain - A copper heraldic crown brooch. This piece features a copper shield marked with some indicator of loyalty to a group or person.

 - Gem - A round brilliant bright topaz crown graces the uppermost portion of the shield, lending an air of nobility or royalty to the overall piece.

 

 

Luck -

 - Plain - A copper luck brooch. Worn by the superstitious, this brooch features a copper shamrock. This four leaf symbol is thought to bring fortune and favorable outcomes. Inside each leaf is filigreed design.

- Gem - Inside each leaf is round brilliant bright topaz gem with a filigreed design.

 

 

Ship -

 - Plain - A copper ship brooch. A decorative copper brooch effortfully etched and shaped to replicate an actual ship complete with all the working parts. It boasts a pair of billowing sails for added decoration.

 - Gem - It boasts a pair of billowing round brilliant bright topaz sails for added decoration.

 

 

Sword -

 - Plain - A copper sword brooch. A curved copper sword with a decorative knob hilt. A detachable sheath, connected to the sword by a fine copper chain via a loop in each piece, is incised throughout its surface with scroll-work filigree.

 - Gem - A copper sword brooch. A curved copper sword with a decorative celestine begemmed knob hilt. A detachable sheath, connected to the sword by a fine copper chain via a loop in each piece, is incised throughout its surface with scroll-work filigree. The sheath is peppered with tiny round brilliant celestines.

 

 

 

Cufflinks - 1 gram

 - Plain - A pair of copper cufflinks. These are decorative fasteners worn by men to secure the cuffs of a shirt or jacket.

 - Gem - A pair of copper cufflinks. These are decorative fasteners worn by men to secure the cuffs of a shirt or jacket. This pair is set with round brilliant celestines.

 

 

Hairclip - 1 gram

 - Plain - A copper hairclip. It is set with three s. It measures roughly 2 inches in length and is designed to secure the hair in place atop the head

 - Gem - It is set with three round brilliant celestines.

 

 

Hair comb - 1 gram (Example item SOLD)

 - Plain - A copper hair comb. A comb with twelve copper teeth attached to a half circle handle.

 - Gem - The handle itself has been tastefully adorned with a series of round brilliant celestine.

 

 

Keyring - 1 gram (Example item SOLD)

 - Plain - A copper keyring. This circular keyring is made of copper, designed to assist in organization by holding a large amount of keys.

Lorgnette - 1.5 grams

 - Plain - A copper lorgnette. Also known as a face-a-main, this is a pair of spectacles with a handle which is used to hold them in place rather than fitting over the ears. The spectacles fold at the bridge between the lenses and tuck neatly within the decorative handle.

 - Gem - The frames are decorated with miniature round brilliant celestine gems.

 

 

 

CHAIN PIECES

 

Anklets - 1 gram

A copper belled anklet. An anklet adorned with several tiny bells. It comes complete with a hook clasp.

 

cabochon 

A copper cabochon anklet. A draping anklet fashioned from a delicate chain set with ornamental cabochons at even intervals.

 - GEM - Each cabochon is adorned with step-cut peridot embellishments.

A copper celtic chain anklet. An anklet featuring alternating patterns of celtic knots, one long and angular, the other short and round.

A copper draping anklet. This is a thin chain that encircles the ankle with multiple loops hanging down from the primary chain.

A copper drop anklet. A delicate anklet which boasts dangling discs.

A copper handcuff anklet. An eight-inch braided anklet which closes via a pair of miniature handcuffs.

A copper interlocked chain anklet. A draping anklet with interlocked circlets woven together to form a smooth, three-dimensional chain.

 

lace - no additions

A copper lace chain anklet. The majority of this anklet is a lace mesh in the shape of an inverted triangle, which rests on the top of the foot. Dangling from the bottom edge of the lace are multiple chains added for decoration.

 

motif 

A copper motif anklet. An anklet featuring twelve copper motifs. It closes on the side via a simple copper clasp.

 - GEM - A copper motif anklet. An anklet featuring twelve copper motifs sporadically adorned with trilliant peridot gems. It closes on the side via a simple copper clasp.

 

spiral - no additions

A copper spiral anklet. A draping copper chain worn around the ankle. It secures by means of a basic clasp formed in the shape of a spiral.

 

 

 

Belts - 2 grams

 

bellychain

A copper belly chain belt. This belt is made of a rope chain crafted of copper. It delicately drapes from the hips, over the small of the back and the stomach itself as decoration.

- GEM - Throughout the piece are sporadically placed sparkling crescent-shaped peridot gems.

 

belt-cabochon

A copper cabochon belt. It is created with a series of large -embellished cabochon discs interspersed by double links.

- GEM - It is created with a series of large faceted ovaline peridot-embellished cabochon discs interspersed by double links.

 

drop

A copper drop belt. A belt comprised of tiny braided copper links. The central front features an elegant, side-lying water drop design which flows downward from the hip into a series of six copper dangles. It opens and closes with a simple latch mechanism on the left hip of the wearer.

 - GEM - The central front features an elegant, side-lying water drop design which flows downward from the hip into a series of six copper dangles tipped with teardrop peridot gemstones. The drop itself bears a large, matching teardrop peridot to complete the look. 

 

girdle

A copper girdle belt. This is a single strand belt comprised of elegantly filigreed copper squares connected throughout its length by matching round rings. This belt drapes from the wearer's true waist, over the hips and is generally worn with skirts or gowns.

 - GEM - This is a single strand belt comprised of elegantly filigreed copper squares that are set with 10mm rose-shaped peridots, connected throughout its length by matching round rings.

 - BEAD - connected throughout its length by matching round rings and 8mm bronze topaz beads. (bead shape does not show in examine)

 

hexmaile - No additions

A copper hexmaile belt. A delicate, copper mesh chain encompasses the waist and supports the rest of the decorations. This is a loincloth like piece of jewelry with two elongated copper mesh triangles; one in front and back. On the side, alternating links of different sizes make up the chain that connects the back side to the front side.

  

maille - no additions

copper maille belt. Generally for men, this belt features a wide band of thick copper double-linked chain. It is twice the length of the average waist size and secures via hooks on both ends. This piece has versatility in however which way the wearer dons it - wrapped doubly about the hips, one cord draped below the other, or arranged jauntily over a single hip with the lower chain dangling loosely.

 

medallion-belt

A copper medallion belt. It is made up of a series of two inch medallions, connected by copper loops. The medallions' outer rim is edged with minuscule dots and the inner ridge is carved into several inward pointing triangles. The center filigree boasts two large discs.

A copper scale-mail belt. A strong copper chain encompasses the waist and supports the rest of the decorations. Tiered scale-mail frames the hips and is connected by three delicate chains. This warrior look is repeated on the back side with a small triangle of tiered scale-mail.

 

serpent

A copper serpent belt. A detailed copper belt crafted to represent the shape of a snake. The body takes up the majority of the piece and is heavily outlined with geometric patterns, yet remains surprisingly smooth. The metal wraps securely around the waist of the wearer and closes in the front via a latch made from the serpent's tongue and end portion of the tail. Two eyes are set into the head to finish the design.

A copper tassel belt. It features a fine twisted chain which wraps around the waist of the wearer and tassels hanging from a smattering of short chains evenly spaced.

A copper ridge cuff bracelet. This is an extra tall bracelet boasting five stacked rows of smooth and textured ridges which have been decorated here-and-there with studs. It is open on the back side, making it easy to slide on and off the wrist.

A copper tiled bracelet. This is a circular piece of jewelry consisting of eleven shiny, square tiles.

 - PENDANT - Does not show in brief for some reason. But, if you examine the necklace - (this one's not for sale) A silver necklace. It boasts a heart-shaped mottled green jade pendant.

Pendant examine - A loose-hanging piece of jewelry typically hung via a small loop at its top, from a necklace and various other types of chain jewelries. Classically contoured and tasteful, this pendant is bordered with a frame of close-set milgrain edging. The pendant is created in such a way to hang from a matching curled loop of mottled green jade at its top.

It has a matching clasp designed to fit comfortably around the base of the neck, and a dripping small topaz fringe around the neck measuring almost 1/2 an inch in diameter. The center piece of fringe hangs down 3 inches from the copper neck chain.

A copper chainmail necklace. Fine rings of copper are woven together to form a series of triangles that encompasses the neck and drapes upon the upper chest.

 - GEM - Tiny shield-cut small topaz are decoratively set in the center links of this necklace.

A copper choker. A flexible piece of copper fit snugly around the neck.

A copper crucifix necklace. This symbol is commonly worn by the followers of the Catholic faith.

A copper drop necklace. This whimsical piece features a copper clasp. A single delicate strand of copper flows downward into a decorative pendant. This necklace dangles neatly upon the collarbone which is short enough to not get in the way, but long enough to be fashionably noticeable.

gothic choker

A copper lace gothic choker. It fits snugly around the neck of the wearer and flows downward into three flowered points to rest against the decolletage.

 - GEM- From the central bloom dangles a round brilliant blue topaz framed on both sides by a delicate trio of matching metal chains.

 

heavy

A copper heavy chain. It boasts heavy 5/8 inch long copper plated links, is 22 inches long, and comes complete with a hook copper clasp.

livery

A copper livery collar. This heavy chain denotes attachment or service to an elevated person or office, often emblazoned with the recognizable heraldic symbols or crest to identify the affiliation. It is extremely long and worn draped over the shoulders with the large insignia piece resting just below the wearer's breastbone.

A copper locket. The locket itself is large enough to store small pictures or paintings inside.

 - HANDFUL - The area surrounding the cube-cut setting of the locket has been clustered centrally with tiny, inset small topaz melee gems. Each link of the fine chain has been sporadically decorated with miniscule small topaz gems that gradually dissipate towards the edges, lending the locket an overall dazzling appearance.

 - BEAD - (does not show shape) A trio of small copper beads dangle here and there upon fine copper pins from the base of the locket.

A copper net necklace. Most of this necklace is a wide mesh of looped wire that makes up a net. A loose chain secures the mass of this necklace around the neck, allowing the rest of it to taper down the torso.

 - GEM - A lotus-shaped bright topaz is centrally placed.

A pristine silver riviere choker. An elaborate pristine silver riviere choker with pristine silver disks. The settings have been interspersed with links crafted into the shape of leaves. 

 - GEM - An elaborate pristine silver riviere choker with pristine silver disks, each set with a 10 mm marquise blue topaz.

 - HANDFUL - Inset with the tiniest of pyrite melee gems, each leaf glimmers as if adorned with so many dewdrops.

 

string

A copper strand. Most people who wear this prefer simplistic elegance over elaborate design. It closes via a simple clasp.

 - BEAD - (does not show shape - gem beads will look better-ish) A copper strand of coppers. This necklace is a simple strand of coppers. Most people who wear this prefer simplistic elegance over elaborate design. It closes via a simple clasp.

A bronze strand of s. This necklace is comprised of a simplistic, yet elegant series of trilliant celestines strung along a fine bronze chain. Most people who wear this prefer simplistic elegance over elaborate design. It closes via a simple clasp.

 

torc

A copper torc. This torc is an incomplete circular neckband. It is created from many different strands of copper, twisted together. This semicircular band of copper curls to either collarbone, and is capped on either end by a pair of copper terminals.

 - GEM - This semicircular band of copper curls to either collarbone, and is capped on either end by a pair of copper terminals; Each of which have been set with a slightly protruding, round brilliant bright topaz.

 - HANDFUL - Either terminal of the torc has been encrusted with tiny, inset melee bright topazs. The bright topazs are clustered centrally around each terminal, gradually dissipating towards the nape of the neckband, lending the piece an overall dazzling appearance.

 

tristrand

A copper tri-strand necklace. This piece features three separate copper strands of small chains which drape loosely on the collarbones. This necklace closes via a simple claw clasp.

 - GEM - Each strand contains varying sizes of briolette cut celestine, with the biggest gem in the center.

A copper archaic ring. The high setting is surrounded by what first appear to be a multitude of small gems, but upon closer inspection the effect has been managed by creative faceting of the metal surrounding the center.

A copper celtic ring. It has an even groove and intricate celtic rope work along the length of the band ending in two celtic knots.

 - GEM - A copper celtic ring, set with a trilliant pink topaz.

 - HANDFUL - A series of the tiniest of inset, blue topaz melee gems have been inset along the curvature of the copper knots. Clustered centrally around the main feature, the blue topaz gems dissipate in number along the band, lending the piece an overall dazzling appearance.

A copper eternity ring. A fine, smooth copper band that twists at the front to take the shape of an eternal (supposed to read 'eternal loop')

 - GEM - A copper eternity ring, set with a round brilliant pink topaz. A fine, smooth copper band that twists at the front to take the shape of an eternal, pink topaz encrusted loop. A large round brilliant pink topaz is set at the very center, where the twist of this imaginative band overlaps.

A copper halo ring. is set in the center of the ring and surrounded by a myriad of smaller gems of the same material, resulting in a glittering effect as the light reflects off the multiple facets.
