A Request for the Community

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who hosted any kind of event or did something extra special for someone else this past holiday season. It gave everyone an opportunity to support and celebrate with each other.  With everything that has been going on, it's brought me personal comfort to be able to spend time with fellow members of the community and share a relatively happy season together.

With that said, this is a gentle request to please, please be sure to dispose of your food and drink properly. Leaving out foodstuffs or drinks encourages rats and other vermin that can contribute to illness. There are trash cans placed in the streets and public areas throughout Rinascita so please be sure to utilize them. It is my genuine hope that through collective efforts we will be able to promote the health of our city.

(OOC: To remove food/drink from your inventory, use @discard my food/mug/cup. With most drinks, the vessel needs to be empty to be @discarded. Using "discard" without the "@" only drops your food/drink in the area you're currently in. If you "empty my mug/cup", it just dumps the liquid on the ground.)
