 Will there be wooden mantels added that the carpenters can craft?  I have heard about stone mantels, but have not seen anything about the wooden ones.  If I have missed it, I apologise.

Mantels have been added to carpenter and stonemason. The pattern has been automatically added to the stonemason database at level 24 and the pattern for the carpenters can be purchased at the wheeler for 20 florins. Mantels can be added to fireplaces to add a mantel detail.

They were added at the same time, yes.

Hoof picks, soft brushes, stiff brushes, and tack boxes have been added to carpenter. Curry combs have been added to blacksmith.

May I ask where is the wheeler with the patterns for sale located at?

I removed "-colored" from all of the dyer mixable dyes. This change doesn't affect dyes that are already mixed, so you can send those to me through the post office if you want it removed.

I went through the fitting database for seamstress and removed a lot of the redundancies (ex: masculine, masculinely-fit, masculinely-styled). With a few exceptions, this means that the -fit, -cut, -styled, et cetera are gone. I also removed a few other miscellaneous fits that fell into the "power playing" category (ex: attractive, ravishing). There are a couple new fits in there as well.

Linings will no longer show in the brief of a garment, i.e. a silk-lined black damask vest is now a black damask vest. The lining is still visible when you look at or examine the item and can still be targeted.

Fabric linings can now be added to furniture containers, such as cigar boxes, trunks, et cetera.

@kjell  Boo.  While I realise that some garments are not enhanced by the lining's description, others are.  Many gowns, over-gowns, etc., were made with fur linings, everything from squirrel to ermine.  Even gentry and noble ladies wore squirrel lined gowns.  This lining shows up at the necklines and turned back cuffs on sleeves, so is another way of showing conspicuous consumption, as well as just showing that you are stylishly warm.  A girl wants her fur lining to show.  Can we storypoint the lining back into the description, if we want?

@morven The lining is still visible when you look at or examine the item. However, you can use STPs to have it added to the brief if you want.

I also am disappointed by this change. I play on a free account, but I really enjoyed having everyone be able to see that my cloak was lined with fur, without people having to look up close at it. If I may ask, what was the reason for the change?

Circular benches, round tables, coffee tables, and side tables have been added to carpenter. The patterns can be found in the respective folders. If you have already purchased the folder, you can send a promissory note to me for 20 florins, and I will send you the individual pattern.

As a stonemason, can Waylon add a lining, or does that require a seamstress?

@weylonwade You'll need to get the lining from a seamstress, but you should be able to add the lining yourself.

Just a curousity?  Is there a way for a crafter to demolish items that crafter has made?
