Ok, first off, the Scottish Consulant is the proud owner of two cows and two chickens, and Jayland really doesn't have a full grasp on how to feed them....Anyway they don't look like they're starving (which is very, very good), but still how does one feed their animals in game?
And second, with Tposy's help and blessing, I utilized my TopMudSties membership to finally get the game registered. However, we're not on the list as of this time, and the fourm post made there has attarcted zero attentiuon. So, here's what can be done to give AoE and boost; if any player here has the time, go to TopMUdSites and ad a post to the Fourm post that's already there consisting of why you like playing AoE.
My thinking is this; the more people add to that fourm post, the more attention AoE can get, and that can equate to courious people comming by for a visit--and hopefully stay, brining others here as well.
It's worth a try, right?

This should help you understand the animals! They only need to be fed once a day to produce
Poe left some hay next to the cows and feed for the chickens -- should be easy to feed them. He also bought a water trough but that is just for RP purposes, they don't really need to be given water.
There is a barrel nearby for milk (the one partly filled with milk), but you will need a bucket to do the actual milking. Feed the delicious hay to one the cows, them milk said cow, then refill barrel with bucket (I think?). Syntax can be a little weird there with milking.
Only an empty bucket can be used for milking and it needs to be a carpenter-made bucket, fish buckets won't do.
As for the chickens, feed them and the next day eggs will start piling up.
Poe's been taking care of them, intermittently. He hasn't accidentally murdered any animals yet, so all is good.
It's ok. There are many things I need to do and know about.
Like how to find the Scottish Embassy.
